American Funds Group is one of the nation's largest mutual fund families, offering more than 40 different funds. The company has recently taken steps to invest in clean energy, tribal communities, and Black founders. The mutual fund family is working in partnership with the American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES) to fund invest that will help ensure that clean energy invest reach Tribal communities.
American Funds Group is committed to the support of cleaner energy initiatives, specifically those that benefit Tribal communities. Through its partnership with AISES, American Funds Group is helping to fund energy invest that Tribal communities need. These invest are helping to improve the quality of life in these communities, while also reducing their dependence on fossil fuels and helping to reduce the negative impacts of climate change.
American Funds Group is also supporting invest in Black founders. Currently, Black founders receive around 1.3% of all venture capital funds, while they make up around 13% of the U.S. population. To address this disparity, American Funds Group is invest in VC funds that are focused on providing capital to Black founders.
