Vision Energy (OTC:VENG) Announces Symbol Change
Vision Energy (OTC:VENG) on Wednesday announced that, effective at the open of market trading today, its ticker symbol will change from “VIHDD” to “VENG”. The company is listed on the OTCQB Venture Market and is expected to be traded under the VENG symbol from today onward.
The change in the ticker symbol is a result of the company’s merger with Vision Energy Corporation, which was completed earlier this year. The new combined entity is now trading under the VENG symbol.
The company is primarily engaged in the production, marketing and distribution of green energy products and services. It is currently focusing on building and operating a green energy terminal in the United States. The terminal will be used to develop, store and distribute green energy to help reduce emissions and create a more sustainable energy future.
Vision Energy is also making significant investments in Cambodia. It has established a rice-growing program in the Prey Veng province, which has already yielded over $350 million in profits. Through its Mobile Eye Treatment Centres (METC), the company is helping 10,000 surgeries to be performed at Prey Veng Provincial Hospital. Vision Energy is also helping to promote the traditional Cambodian two-stringed long-necked guitar, Chapei Dang Veng, by sponsoring performances on its sixth anniversary.
In addition, Vision Energy is looking to expand its operations beyond Cambodia. It has recently announced that it is unlikely to develop the Green Energy Terminal due to a lack of investment. This decision may be reversed in the future, depending on the company’s performance.
Vision Energy aims to be a leader in green energy production and distribution. With its new ticker symbol, VENG, investors now have a clearer way to access the company’s stock.
