The large Tropical Disturbance – officially tagged Invest #94L – on the far side of the Atlantic has lots of runway and a generally favorable environment for development. Meteorologists are closely monitoring its progress as it moves westward.

The Tropical Disturbance we have been following – tagged by the NHC as Invest 94L – is a large area of low pressure and associated thunderstorms. While it is still too early to determine its exact path and potential impact, it is showing signs of organization, warranting attention.

Typhoon Bolaven is approaching Alaska and could impact weather across the U.S. next week. Although it is unrelated to Invest 94L, it highlights the significance of tracking weather systems and their potential impacts.
