The move by Russell Investments signals the global investment management company will vacate the namesake tower in downtown Seattle it moved into in 2010. Perkins Coie announced last week that it will leave its longtime home at 1201 Third Ave. Come 2025, it'll move some 800 attorneys and staff to the nearby modern office building. Perkins Coie plans to move its Seattle office to an iconic modern office building in mid-2025. The decision by Seattle's largest law firm, a trusted advisor to Russell Investments' strategists believe soft-landing optimism can deliver more near-term market gains but the risks of a sharper economic slowdown later in the future are unknown. The Russell Innovation Center for Entrepreneurs (RICE) is thrilled to announce a $2 million grant awarded by Truist Foundation and two Truist Trusteed. The Russell Investments Center tower boasts forty-two stories of Class A+ office space at Second and Union in downtown Seattle. Space in Seattle's Rainier Square tower formerly occupied by Amazon has been subleased to Russell Investments and Remitly. Insurance giant Northwestern Mutual said Friday it has sold downtown Seattle's Russell Investments Center for $480 million.
