The K-State vs Texas Tech series is one of the most storied rivalries in college basketball. Dave Bing '66, H'06, NBA legend, former mayor of Detroit, and current president of the Detroit Pistons, recently visited K-State’s campus to talk about the series. The talk was part of a speaker series celebrating the creation of the new Basketball Performance Center. Dave shared his thoughts on the series and the impact it has had on college basketball.

The two teams split the season series; TCU won at home over the Wildcats 82-68 while Kansas State was able to win in Manhattan; 82-61. The FuelTech NHRA Pro Mod Drag Racing Series presented by Type A will also be featured in the series. The series will include stops at Route 66 Raceway in Chicago, New England Dragway, Bristol Dragway and other tracks.

Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship Quarterfinals saw Texas defeat Kansas State in a close contest. OSU SERIES: Texas leads, 57-47. Last meeting: Texas 89-75. OU SERIES: OU leads, 57-46. 66 Ford Mustang into the field for Saturday's NASCAR Xfinity Series event at Phoenix Raceway, should more than 38 entries be present at the time.

The Wildcats have had some success against the Longhorns in recent years. BU improves to 2-0 all-time against Loyola Maryland in the Patriot League Tournament, and 14-6 in the series history. The Terriers have won four of the last five meetings against the Greyhounds.

In the all-time series, LSU leads 66-51. Florida won the first meeting of 2023 with a 67-56 victory at Baton Rouge on Jan. 16. The two teams face off again in the regular season finale on Mar. 6.
