The Firm is pleased to announce that it has hired Daniel Tiemann as a Managing Principal and Head of Portfolio Operations. Tiemann brings to the Firm a wealth of experience in the private equity industry, having worked in the sector for over 20 years.
Previously, Tiemann led the deal advisory and strategic practice of KPMG LLP for 17 years. During his tenure at KPMG, he worked on numerous private equity transactions and leveraged buyouts, ranging from small to large. Prior to KPMG, Tiemann worked at Odyssey Investment Partners LLC as an executive director from 2000-2005.
At Odyssey Investment Partners, Tiemann will be responsible for leading the Firm’s portfolio operations team and managing the day-to-day operations of the Firm’s portfolio companies. He will work closely with the Firm’s portfolio management and investor relations teams to develop successful strategies to maximize the value of the portfolio companies.
Tiemann is a proven leader with a strong track record of success. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
