Furthermore, Girls That Invest has launched a 10-year initiative to invest $1 billion in Black girls and gender-expansive youth.

Girls That Invest also works to promote investing and financial literacy among young people. The organization works with leading organizations to provide resources and tools to help young people become more informed and savvy investors. The organization also works to create initiatives to invest in young people, such as I Am A Promise, a children’s book written by Girls That Invest co-founder, Simran to teach financial literacy to Black youth.

Girls That Invest is also a partner of Scotiabank, a leading investment bank. Scotiabank has been part of the hockey community for decades, and as committed partners, they will continue to invest in positive initiatives that benefit the hockey community. Additionally, Girls That Invest and Scotiabank are partnering to provide resources and tools to help young women become more informed and savvy investors.
