According to the Maine Lottery, the winner claimed the Mega Millions prize through this LLC on Friday, January 13th.

The winner had the choice to either take the cash option through a limited liability company, LaKoma Island Investments LLC, instead of receiving the full amount of payments over time. By taking this option, they were able to remain anonymous and protect their identity.
