Oman Investment Authority delegation visits Jordan to discuss investment opportunities.

The Omani Investment Authority (NYSE:OIA) delegation recently visited Jordan to explore potential Investment opportunities. The delegation, which was led by the Minister of Economy and Investment, Dr. Yasser Al-Mazroui, met with a number of officials in the public and private sectors, including the Prime Minister, Hani Al-Mulki, in order to discuss the prospects for economic cooperation between the two countries.

The visit was part of a larger mission to promote economic cooperation between Oman and Jordan, and to explore new Investment opportunities in the region. During the visit, Dr. Al-Mazroui and his team discussed the possibility of establishing joint ventures between public and private sector entities in both countries. The delegation also discussed various topics related to the development of the private sector in both countries, as well as ways to support the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises.

The delegation also met with the Minister of Finance, Dr. Omar Malhas, to discuss the implementation of the recently agreed upon economic reform program. The program is designed to promote economic growth and reduce poverty in Jordan through the implementation of a number of reforms, including a reduction in taxes and an increase in Investment incentives.

The Omani Investment Authority delegation also held talks with the private sector, including representatives from the banking and finance, tourism, and energy sectors. The delegation discussed the potential for increased Investment in the tourism sector, as well as ways to promote the development of renewable energy resources in the region.

The delegation also explored the potential for increased Investment in the agricultural sector, which is a key source of employment in the country. The delegation discussed the possibility of establishing agricultural cooperatives, which would facilitate the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises in the agricultural sector.

The visit also included a discussion of the opportunities for Investment in the manufacturing sector. In this regard, the delegation discussed the potential for increased Investment in the automotive industry, as well as the possibility of establishing joint ventures between public and private sector entities in the manufacturing sector.

The Omani Investment Authority delegation also held talks with representatives from the real estate sector, with the aim of exploring potential Investment opportunities in the sector. The delegation discussed the possibility of establishing joint ventures between public and private sector entities in the real estate sector, as well as the potential for increased Investment in the construction industry.

Finally, the delegation also discussed the potential for increased Investment in the infrastructure sector. The delegation discussed the possibility of establishing joint ventures between public and private sector entities in the infrastructure sector, as well as the potential for increased Investment in the energy sector.

The Omani Investment Authority delegation's visit to Jordan was part of a larger mission to promote economic cooperation between the two countries, and to explore new Investment opportunities in the region.
