Manulife Investment announced today the launch of an initiative to invest in companies that are focused on climate change mitigation. The university will invest in three or four new companies each year through the initiative, with an anticipated maximum Investment of $250,000. This initiative will allow invest to create a portfolio of new green energy companies and invest in nature while also mitigating climate change.
The initiative will be managed by a team of experienced invest and advisors who will select the companies to be invest in. The team will assess the potential of each Investment, making sure that the Investment are both profitable and beneficial for the environment.
Investment in the upstream oil and gas industry in Russia could decline by $15 billion this year as a result of Western sanctions, Rystad Energy reported. This decline is in contrast to the Investment opportunity that the Manulife Investment initiative presents.
